Recently, hospitals, clinics, beauty salons, and fitness clubs have introduced on-site H2 gas generators, which produce high-purity H2 through water electrolysis, owing to their ease of use. Typically, these generators produce H2 at a low flow rate, raising concerns among physicians about ensuring an effective blood concentration of H2 when delivering the gas through a nasal cannula. This study aims to assess blood concentrations of H2 delivered from an H2 gas generator via a nasal cannula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Methods: Administering 100% H2, produced by an H2 gas generator, at a low-flow rate of 250 mL\/min through a nasal cannula to three spontaneously breathing micro miniature pigs was conducted. An oxygen mask was placed over the nasal cannula to administer oxygen and minimize H2 leakage. A catheter inserted into the carotid artery monitored arterial blood H2 concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Results: In the initial hour of H2 inhalation, the mean (standard error (SE)) H2 concentrations and saturations in the arterial blood of the three pigs were 1,560 (413) nL\/mL and 8.85% (2.34%); 1,190 (102) nL\/mL and 6.74% (0.58%); and 1,740 (181) nL\/mL and 9.88% (1.03%), respectively. These values align with the expected concentration if 100% of the H2 released from the H2 gas generator is absorbed by the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusions: Even at low-flow rates, the inhalation of 100% H2 produced by an H2 gas generator can elevate blood H2 concentrations to levels demonstrated to be therapeutically effective in previous non-clinical and clinical studies. The use of a nasal cannula combined with an oxygen mask proves to be a convenient method for minimizing H2 leakage while ensuring proper oxygenation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u80cc\u666f\uff1a \u5206\u5b50\u6c2b\uff08H2\uff09\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u5728\u91ab\u7642\u9818\u57df\u5ee3\u6cdb\u4f7f\u7528\u7684\u751f\u7269\u6d3b\u6027\u6c23\u9ad4\u3002\u8fd1\u5e74\u4f86\uff0c\u7531\u65bc\u5176\u4f7f\u7528\u4fbf\u5229\u6027\uff0c\u8a31\u591a\u91ab\u9662\u3001\u8a3a\u6240\u3001\u7f8e\u5bb9\u9662\u548c\u5065\u8eab\u4ff1\u6a02\u90e8\u7d1b\u7d1b\u5f15\u5165\u73fe\u5834H2\u6c23\u9ad4\u767c\u751f\u5668\uff0c\u901a\u904e\u6c34\u96fb\u89e3\u7522\u751f\u9ad8\u7d14\u5ea6\u7684H2\u3002\u4e00\u822c\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u9019\u4e9b\u767c\u751f\u5668\u4ee5\u4f4e\u6d41\u91cf\u7522\u751fH2\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u91ab\u751f\u64d4\u5fc3\u7576\u901a\u904e\u9f3b\u5957\u5c07\u6c23\u9ad4\u50b3\u905e\u6642\u53ef\u80fd\u7121\u6cd5\u78ba\u4fdd\u6709\u6548\u7684H2\u8840\u6db2\u6fc3\u5ea6\u3002\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u65e8\u5728\u8a55\u4f30\u7531H2\u6c23\u9ad4\u767c\u751f\u5668\u901a\u904e\u9f3b\u5957\u50b3\u905e\u7684H2\u8840\u6db2\u6fc3\u5ea6\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u65b9\u6cd5\uff1a \u6211\u5011\u4f7f\u7528H2\u6c23\u9ad4\u767c\u751f\u5668\u7522\u751f\u7684100\uff05H2\u4ee5250 mL\/min\u7684\u4f4e\u6d41\u91cf\u901a\u904e\u9f3b\u5957\u5c0d\u4e09\u96bb\u81ea\u4e3b\u547c\u5438\u7684\u5fae\u5c0f\u8c6c\u9032\u884c\u4e86\u5be6\u9a57\u3002\u5728\u9f3b\u5957\u4e0a\u653e\u7f6e\u6c27\u6c23\u9762\u7f69\u4ee5\u7d66\u4e88\u6c27\u6c23\u4e26\u6e1b\u5c11H2\u7684\u6cc4\u6f0f\u3002\u63d2\u5165\u9838\u52d5\u8108\u7684\u5c0e\u7ba1\u76e3\u6e2c\u52d5\u8108\u8840H2\u6fc3\u5ea6\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u7d50\u679c\uff1a \u5728H2\u5438\u5165\u7684\u521d\u59cb\u4e00\u5c0f\u6642\u5167\uff0c\u4e09\u96bb\u8c6c\u7684\u52d5\u8108\u8840\u4e2d\u7684\u5e73\u5747\uff08\u6a19\u6e96\u8aa4\u5dee\uff08SE\uff09\uff09H2\u6fc3\u5ea6\u548c\u98fd\u548c\u5ea6\u5206\u5225\u70ba1,560\uff08413\uff09nL\/mL\u548c8.85\uff05\uff082.34\uff05\uff09\uff1b1,190\uff08102\uff09nL\/mL\u548c6.74\uff05\uff080.58\uff05\uff09\uff1b\u4ee5\u53ca1,740\uff08181\uff09nL\/mL\u548c9.88\uff05\uff081.03\uff05\uff09\u3002\u9019\u4e9b\u6578\u503c\u8207\u9810\u671f\u7684\u6fc3\u5ea6\u4e00\u81f4\uff0c\u5373\u5982\u679c100\uff05\u5f9eH2\u6c23\u9ad4\u767c\u751f\u5668\u91cb\u653e\u7684H2\u88ab\u4eba\u9ad4\u5438\u6536\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u7d50\u8ad6\uff1a \u5373\u4f7f\u5728\u4f4e\u6d41\u91cf\u7684\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e0b\uff0c\u901a\u904eH2\u6c23\u9ad4\u767c\u751f\u5668\u7522\u751f\u7684100\uff05H2\u5438\u5165\u53ef\u4ee5\u63d0\u9ad8\u8840\u6db2\u4e2d\u7684H2\u6fc3\u5ea6\uff0c\u9054\u5230\u5148\u524d\u975e\u81e8\u5e8a\u548c\u81e8\u5e8a\u7814\u7a76\u8b49\u660e\u5177\u6709\u6cbb\u7642\u6548\u679c\u7684\u6c34\u5e73\u3002\u4f7f\u7528\u9f3b\u5957\u642d\u914d\u6c27\u6c23\u9762\u7f69\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u65b9\u4fbf\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u53ef\u6e1b\u5c11H2\u6cc4\u6f0f\u4e26\u78ba\u4fdd\u9069\u7576\u7684\u6c27\u5408\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Link to original article:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC7524558\/\" title=\"\">https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC7524558\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NIH Library of Medicine PubMed Central Journal List&nbsp; J Clin Med Res&nbsp; v.12(10); 2020 Oct&nbsp; PMC7524558 Background: Molecular hydrogen (H2) stands out as a biologically active gas widely used in the healthcare sector.
